Sure, the Fourth of July is all about backyard barbecues and fireworks.

But it's a holiday that invites all the fruity refreshment an icy beverage can offer just as well.
So in honor of the red, white and blue, here's a collection of cocktail recipes meant to make the rockets' red glare shine just a little brighter.
Roman Candle
3 ounces Three-O Berry Vodka (or any berry-flavored vodka)
1/2 ounce cranberry juice
1 splash of grenadine
1/2 ounce Blue Cura ao
Shake vodka, cranberry juice and grenadine in a shaker with ice. Strain into martini glass. Pour Blue Cura ao gently down the side of the glass so it comes to settle on the bottom.

Dawn's Early Light
1 ounce Southern Comfort
1 ounce vodka
1 splash of club soda
1 ounce fruit syrup
3 ounces sweet and sour mix
Shake all the ingredients (except the club soda). Top the drink with soda. Garnish with a slice of orange.
